Why a studio and a lab
Products are where AI meets real users, real data and real bills. Some of what products need doesn’t exist yet, such as an honest way to grade an agent’s marketing decisions, so NeoLab works on those problems directly, with the patience a product roadmap can’t afford.
Not every product uses every research result, and we only describe the connections that exist.

- Build for real problems
- Start with a job someone already needs done. A capability looking for a use is not a product.
- Prefer evidence over hype
- Say what is built, what is measured and what is still a guess, and keep those three apart.
- Make products independently useful
- Each product has to stand on its own for its own users, whatever the research behind it.
- Publish what we learn
- Release code, methods and results when we can, including the results that did not work.
- Treat reliability, cost and trust as requirements
- An agent that crashes, overspends or acts without permission is not finished.

What is Einstein Labs?
Einstein Labs is an independent AI product company and applied AI research lab. Its Product Studio builds and runs AI-native software products, and its research lab, NeoLab, works on how to evaluate AI agents honestly and keep them reliable in production.
What is the difference between the Product Studio and NeoLab?
The Product Studio builds, launches and runs products for real users, each with its own site and business model. NeoLab researches the systems those products depend on and publishes its questions, methods, status and open code. Research creates capabilities, products test them in real use, and what breaks becomes the next research question.
Which products does Einstein Labs build?
Praxiom AI: Product discovery from real evidence (live). agentFast: The production framework for AI agents (live). Propel: You ship. Propel sells (in development).
What does NeoLab research?
NeoLab’s primary track is verifiable intelligence: how do you tell whether an agent did real work well, when the outcomes are slow, noisy or partly subjective? Its secondary track is reliable and coordinated agents. Its projects are Propel Gym, PMEval, agent-stream, Papyrus.
Has NeoLab published research results?
Not yet. Every NeoLab project is labelled in progress or prototype, and none has reached the evaluated stage. Open code is available for PMEval, agent-stream and Papyrus. Results, including negative ones, will be published on each project page.
Is Einstein Labs an agency or a consultancy?
No. Einstein Labs builds and runs its own products and does its own research. It does not sell client services, custom development or consulting.
